Everything Is Fucked - The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck

“We live in an interesting time,” says Mark Manson. “Materially, everything is the best it’s ever been – we are freer, healthier and wealthier than any people in human history. Yet, somehow, everything seems to be irreparably and horribly f*cked.”

And he’s not wrong. The planet is getting hotter, governments are failing worldwide, economies are collapsing, and everyone is always taking offence on the internet. We’ve never felt so hopeless, Manson says, “yet we’ve got technology, education and communication our ancestors couldn’t even dream of.”

So what’s going on? Well, if anyone can figure out our current issues and help address them, it’s Manson. He’s an excellent author who’s already rocked so many people’s worlds with his first book, The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck – which I also highly recommend if you haven’t read it yet! 

I love Manson’s writing style as it’s really easy to read. I’d also recommend listening to the audiobook as it’s like a friend talking to you, telling you a story. His work is fun, sharp, honest, and you’ll learn a lot!

In Everything is Fucked, Manson questions what really makes us happy, along with our beliefs about what actually makes life worth living.
